Malta Development Bank presents Annual Report to the President of Malta
The Malta Development Bank’s leadership paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, at San Anton Palace.
MDB Chairperson Leo Brincat and Chief Executive Officer Alison Micallef presented the Bank’s Annual Report to the President and discussed the MDB’s role in supporting Malta’s sustainable and inclusive economic development.
The meeting focused on the Bank’s objectives as Malta’s national promotional bank, including its work to improve access to finance, support long-term investment, and address financing gaps in the Maltese economy.
Discussions also covered a number of MDB initiatives aimed at supporting individuals, businesses, and the wider economy. These include assistance for students pursuing further specialisation, as well as financing support for small and medium-sized enterprises seeking to invest, grow, and strengthen their operations.
Through its schemes and financial instruments, the Malta Development Bank continues to support projects that contribute to sustainable growth, social inclusion, competitiveness, and improved economic opportunities across Malta.
