APS Bank Now Offers MDB Guarantee Schemes for Cultural, Creative and Sustainable Businesses

Two of Malta Development Bank’s flagship guarantee schemes, the Culture and Creative Guarantee and the Sustainability Guarantee, are now also being offered through APS Bank, further expanding access to MDB-backed financing for businesses in Malta operating in cultural, creative, and sustainability-driven sectors.

Following the signing of addenda on Tuesday, 12th May 2026, APS Bank will offer both schemes to its clients, bringing more accessible financing to Maltese businesses looking to grow, invest, and build long-term resilience.

Organisations in Malta operating in eligible cultural and creative sectors can now access financing more easily through an additional banking partner, while businesses committed to sustainability-driven investment benefit from dedicated support under a scheme designed with their ambitions in mind. Together, the two guarantees reflect Malta Development Bank’s continued effort to widen access to financing and back the sectors shaping Malta’s economic future.
