Hiring: Chief Risk & Compliance Officer
The Malta Development Bank is seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to join its leadership team as Chief Risk and Compliance Officer (CRCO).
This senior role is responsible for leading and maintaining the Bank’s compliance function, while ensuring effective governance, oversight, and management across the full spectrum of risks facing the institution. The CRCO plays a pivotal role within MDB, overseeing the development and implementation of the Bank’s risk management framework, including the processes, tools, and systems required to identify, assess, measure, manage, monitor, and report risk.
Working closely with the Bank’s leadership team, the CRCO will help embed sound risk management practices across MDB’s operations and programmes, while also promoting a strong compliance culture in relation to governance, policies, and procedures.
The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and the Bank’s Risk Committee.
